Interview with Fashion Magazine – Help!!!!?

Hello!
In a few days I have an interview with a popular fashion magazine, however, I can’t seem to put together the right outfit for a position under the director accessories!!! Please help! I would love to wear a dress or a skirt, but I understand that with an interview, it’s better to stay on the conservative side? I love color, and I would love to wear ankle boots, and I’m guessing that I would need to wear accessories since I’m interviewing with the director of them! But I wouldn’t know for I haven’t ever interviewed at this level… so if you could help me, I would really appreciate it, and I would definitely vote you best answer if it helps!
Thanks!!
Also – is it okay to wear white jeans to an interview? I know that its not okay to do that with a typical interview, but what about in this scenario?

If it’s a fashion magazine, you not only need to focus on the accessories, you need to focus on the entire outfit. You are right! you need to be conservative but a bit edgy as well. After all, fashion is all about exercising your creative mind. My advice, is to wear slacks, two piece suit and go classic on the neck. Something simple. A Single necklace will do, but make sure you wear an impact-full charm/pendant. Nothing too large that will cover half of your chest, but something that will fall right in between the bottom of your neck and the top of your breasts. Remember, keep it simple, nothing too clunky. Now the bracelet, keep it minimal. See if you can get a family bracelet, do not over accessorize your wrists. Wear a watch and a bracelet on your other arm. Avoid the Livestrong stuff, but see if you can get a pink charm or something that signifies your support for Breast Cancer (that will earn you brownie points) as for your fingers, wear a maximum of 3 ring fingers. 1 in one hand, and two on the other. make two rings be simple and the one on the single hand make it be distinct and a bit bigger. This will give the impression of you being strong and determined. Now the earrings, wear long ones, which will accentuate your face and will make your ears look smaller. Additional note, stay away from gold. If you must wear metal, keep it at silver or white gold. As gold will come across as gawd y! Good luck
