does anyone know how to start an advertising business?

i want to start a community local directory and offer business owners to advertise their business in my magazine. it consist of almost every businesses in the community with picture of their place. But i don’t know what the first step i shoud do. how much should i charge? who to contact? what the start up cost? any help?

Contact them to arrange for a free one on one meeting with a SCORE counselor to discuss opening an advertising business.

SCORE is a nonprofit organization and is part of the Small Business Administration. They provide a public service by offering small business advice and training.

SCORE’s 10,500 volunteers have more than 600 business skills. Volunteers share their wisdom and lessons learned in business. The volunteers are working/retired business owners, executives and corporate leaders.
