He holds a degree in journalism from the music is necessary?

I decided some time ago I wanted to be a journalist, simply because I love music music and the only thing im really good. I left art college founded an art with three levels that are useless to me because every level of English is attached – or one of the music I have, which means America is out of question for me. I wondering if a diploma in music journalism is the only way arrive? Im currently writes for two local music magazines, one of which is a big hit, written comments llive demonstration and interviews with bands. I am also producing my own fanzine in the process of making a blog with my comments and so on, but I paid for it does not bother me at all concerts are free and I am a lot of revenue from the experience. Do you believe that experience is important enough for me to create a successful career in the field of journalism?

Hello, I found your question, when my own work of music journalism. My answer: No, a degree in music journalism need not be a music journalist. Unless you want a day given the responsibility of an editor or a magazine, so you do not need a degree in journalism from the music. I recommend that if somehow you can go to college to do so, regardless of what he wants to step in. I presume, but I was lucky to be born with natural ability in writing, and with great love for music. It was very easy for me to combine the two to make a living as an adult. I started writing for free (or nearly nothing) to 18, and gradually worked my way to a career as a professional music journalist. This title is not something that I am at university, but to pay (and paid sometimes very good) for interviews, examinations and reports by the media, regional and national music artists of international renown. Do not start, without resorting to anything …. part-time in a while. Find your "voice" – an indefinable style that all good writers have, and make it your own. Find the publications you want to write, and make a goal to work with. Write down everything you can about the music, and as many different kinds and types of music you can. Better able to upload music journalism is a marketing, public relations or English degree. Those who serve you better, in general, when looking for work in a wide range of industries and career opportunities. No "put all your eggs in one basket" as they say … Got something to support your family while you pursue music journalism. (And a tip not many people know … the magazines pay a lot more than most other magazines, the music-based). I did not get a title music journalism – Damn I've been on a college campus a few times, and has been interviewed by others. But all my life, my finances and resume, found a way to go to college would have helped me a lot in these areas. Good luck to you – no doubt a degree in something, but it must be music to journalism to become a music journalist. Just be persistent, knowledgeable, well damn.
