Where on the internet or a magazine or something can you purchase pieces of warhammer 40k models?
I am looking for some where to buy just parts (heads, weapons, etc) of Warhammer 40k figures
That depends on where you are. If you’re in the US, then Battlewagon Bitz (http://thewarstore.com/battlewagonbits.html) at the War Store is where you want to go.
For the UK and rest of Europe, then Bitzbox (http://www.bitzbox.co.uk) is the place to go.
By and large, both sites sell only plastic kits in the form of distinct bitz. For metal parts, they follow GW’s lead and sell metal models as single miniatures (actually, I don’t think Bitzbox sells metal models at all). The War Store is extremely well-regarded in the US. I’ve used Bitzbox myself and found them extremely good value and efficient.
