Magazine renewal scam?
I got a call from a magazine company saying that I had a subscription to 5 different magazines, and that I owe $39 a month for the next 5 years…they had my credit card information and address and everything but I never have received anything about it…they said I could have signed up for it through a free gas promotion and just never canceled the magazine part or something…what should I do?
Immediately dispute the charge on your credit card.
