How to make a teen magazine?
I need step by step instructions please. Give me everything. Dont leave anything out. Tell me what software to use because i was thinking about microsoft publisher? Tell me what kind of paper to use. Who to hire? How to design the pages BY MYSELF? Just give me everything u got. please no websites that dont give me exact instructions. thank u
also please be specific on what kind of gloss paper. like just dont say golss paper tell me what brand?
one more thing if i wanted to use an online magazine printer will i have to buy paper and will it be cheaper?
Most professional publications use a combination of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
Adobe photoshop is used to create the graphics which are subsequently imported into InDesign. Text is then worked around the images.
Generally, a magazine will have a theme that runs through from the first page to the last. Examples of a running theme would be a coloured bar along the top of the page, an image that appears on every page or spread, or a general colour scheme and shape scheme that runs throughout the magazine.
Most magazines are printed on 160-180gsm glossy paper, with the front and back covers often thicker.
Also, magazines generally have quite a large staff base, depending on the size and frequency of the publication, so it will be a tough job to put one together yourself.
