Writer for newspaper or magazine for college application?
Hi guys. I was just wondering if I could apply for a part/time job or something to fund my college fees (I’m trying for America) as a writer for a newspaper/magazine. This would also look good on my college application since I hardly have any activities on my record.
Therefore, if anybody could mention the steps here I would be really grateful. But the thing is I have no experience what-so-ever and I’m still in class XII. But I know I’m good at writing about random topics…like the ones you read in Brunch and stuff.
Even if its not a job and just you know ‘send in your articles for free’, I’m totally up for it as long as the place I’m sending to gives me some sort of proof to show on my record.
I’m currently in Delhi, India and would like any help. And the money thing would totally serve as an added perk.
