Culturally hypocritical, as always; Vanity Fair vs Jet or Ebony?
So, Vanity Fair is getting all this flak about having only white people on their most recent cover.
I want to know; has Jet or Ebony magazine EVER had a white person IN their magazine, anywhere?
Does anyone kind of feel like people are just whining to be whining? I thought this was 2010.
If I made ‘Cloud’ magazine, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would march tomorrow.
Good point. It smacks of double standards. For those who say “Well Jet and Ebony make it known that they cater to blacks, Vanity Fair doesn’t openly say that they cater to whites predominately”, do you realize the shitstorm that would take place if they publicly said that? You see it’s perfectly acceptable to have a magazine or indeed television networks that carter to to any race so long as that race isn’t white. It’s just political correctness bullshit. If you want racism to diminish people are going to have to stop making big deals over such crisises of not having every minority included in Vanity Fair photo spread.
