What is the best way to store vintage magazines?

Hello! Recently I bought a bunch of old magazines from the 70s and I wonder what is the best way to prevent damage? So far I have kept in a cardboard box and wary of this material, I should or should not be used as storage space! Any ideas? Cheers

In a cool dry place. Ideally, the magazine must have its own plastic bag, cardboard supports to bend and not be kept away from light in the dark, not too wet in a box of appropriate size.
