Soldiers were African-Americans at Iwo Jima War.? What yall think? Who is right and who is wrong?
It appears that Spike Lee Clint Eastwood is one thing that has not been African-American soldiers in the film. Clint said werent any … But if you just did not do their research or simply do not like black … Because it was the struggle of African Americans in Iwo Jima were then Hispanics and other races. As Time magazine quotes: "The Afro-American have played a role in the Second World War, in which more than 1 million black soldiers helped defeat the Axis powers. These efforts include significant contributions the fight for Iwo Jima. Approximately 700-900 black soldiers participated in the epic battle for the island, many of whom were Marines trained in separate camps in Montford starting point at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. These soldiers were restricted from front line fighting missions, but they have played an integral role not combatants. Under enemy fire, truck driver amphibious units during perilous shore landings, unloaded and ammunition to the frontline of transport "
First, it Iwo Jima, but not the war a battle. second, Spike Lee is not racist and does nothing but piss people. Thirdly, yes, there were black in Iwo. fourth, Eastwood's film is based on the book is nothing and that was about six hoisted the flag, not the entire battle or someone else. Eastwood is why no blacks in his movie because the six white flag was hoisted, except they were all Ira Hayes, a Pima Indian.
